DVCers: Do Disneyland Paris if you can

my family visited paris a few years ago (when the dollar was good!) and used DLP as a getaway from paris one day. We took the RER which was included in our carte orange rail pass. We had a great time and enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend it to any one who is able to do the trip.
My wife and I took high school french (a long time ago) and she is much better than I. My wife read the french are afraid of embarrasing themselves so if you ask them a question in english they will often say "je ne parl pas anglais". We found by trying to ask them in our slaughtered french they would think "stupid american- I will impress him with my english", giving you the result you want.
Our european travel tip: we've been to Canada for many vacations and have collected some canadian flag pins. We add a pin to our knapsack or bum bag- after all nobody hates Canadians!

Thank you so much for a wonderful report on DLP - so glad you enjoyed it. Although it's definitely a "Disney Park" , it has quite a different feeling to it from WDW - but I love them both.

BTW if that was a brief report, your full ones must be unbelievable!! ;)

Mark099 - I believe the Pirates ride at DLP is actually longer than the one at WDW!!

It's been a while. We actually went to DLP before our first ever trip to WDW. Pirates at DLR is still my favourite.
