DVC with RCI exchange

Trying to figure this out.

With the RCI exchange there is a 90$ fee (or whatever you call it) I am wondering if that fee is going to apply to each stop on my vacation or just a 1 time fee if i book each of my nights at once.

I am planning on driving across the U.S and stopping at DVC RCI locations each night. Will the fee apply each night at a different hotel? or if my route is chosen prior and booked all at once will it only be billed 1 time?

If I'm reading this correctly, you are a DVC member and want to do single night RCI exchanges?
I believe the $95 transaction fee will apply to each individual reservation.

I agree with the above response that the $95.00 fee would apply for each reservation. I also wanted to add that I believe you would find this difficult to accomplish too. Getting a RCI reservation is more about 'luck' than anything. I called (wanted to go to Hawaii) but told the CM that I was interested in anything on the "West Coast and Hawaii" I lucked out, got my first choice (Princevalle, Kauai) but she did note that nothing was available on the West Coast, even if that had been first on my list. So availability greatly changes from moment to moment and this would present difficulties when trying to give yourself a cohesive trip across the U.S.

An exchange fee would apply to each resort independently. All resorts I know of that allow reservations of less than 7 days THROUGH RCI charge an extra fee for housekeeping even if they don't state they do. IMO, this is not a feasible option unless you plan on staying 6-7 days each location. I'd suggest you try to find someone who owns either Wyndham or Bluegreen and work out a trade, someone who owns both would be ideal. Someone with Marriott points might also be a good choice. With BG you could cover AZ, LV, Branson, Gatlinburg, as well as several midwest and Atlantic options. Wyndham gives you even more coverage.
