DVC - Why should I buy into a higher per point DVC?

I also wouldn't buy into any resort until I visited them onsite so that might change.

Where's the fun in that?

(we bought into DVC without ever having been to WDW before. and we didn't buy at Grand Californian. we just knew we'd love it out there, and we were right! (though it turns out we love Universal just as much, if not more, as WDW...wish Universal had a timeshare!))

I agree with you on Universal (Florida). If they ever sold timeshare units we would be all in. Split stay between Disney and Universal would be perfect!
