DVC website question

I need to change my credit card info on the site, for dues, can you tell me where I would go to do this, thanks,

Don't believe that can be done via the website. Dues are debited from a checking or savings account if you are paying monthly. Contact member accounting (via phone) to get new copies of the direct debit paperwork sent to you.

If you're paying annually payments can be placed on a credit card. However, I don't believe DVC stores that info. You'll get a statement in the mail in December and can then either send a check or contact them with credit card info in order to pay.

We do pay our dues by credit card automatically and they mailed and asked me to go to site to make the changes. I simply cannot find it, I wish they gave directions haha

I would call today and speak to Member Accounting instead of Member Services. It sounds like you may have spoken to someone over the weekend at Member Services, who may have assumed you could do that via the internet.

Monthly dues bank debits are only used for US Bank accounts, non-US Residents, including Canadians, have the ability to monthly debit their major credit card accounts.

I was so hoping, based on this thread, that I could have the monthly dues put on my Disney Visa! The dues are presently taken out of my checking account. I called member accounting and was authoritatively told that monthly dues could only be debited out of a checking, saving or like account.

They reminded me that, at the beginning of the year, I could pay the entire dues bill by Feb 14 putting that on the Chase Disney Visa if I wanted to. I will probably do that next year since there are so few safe places to invest money these days and I have a WDW trip scheduled for January.

Yes.

US Residents = bank debit only, no monthly CC debit. CC maybe used for full payment.

non-US Residents = monthly CC debit, no bank drafts.

It may have something to do with transaction fees and exchange rates. n Banks may charge more for account debits to other countries. CC exchange rate fees are paid by the cc holder. So even though there is a fee to DVC for processing a credit card, it may be less expensive than doing a non-US bank draft.
