DVC Watches are out

We were at the gift shop at OKW on Sunday and I asked if they had any idea when the watches would be available. The CM replied they had received them today(Sunday). My wife and I each got one and did notice they were on display Monday. I asked the CM how they were selling and he said they had about six left of their allotment on Monday night. Last I heard, they were talking about September so I was pleasenly surprised.

Are they waterproof like most Fossil watches are? Does it say? If it is I might try to call and order one if they'll let me.

The watches are $125 and come in men's and women's styles.

Yipee!!! They are out. We are heading to the world in 3 weeks and I really want one of those watches. I hope they still have some left.

The picture is on page 3 of the Vacation Magic (summer edition). I called OKW store and they put my name on a list to mail me one. I would imagine they will arrive in different shipments as they are manufactured, so I don't know how long it will take to get to me. I think they were limited although I don't think I saw how many.

As I recall they are "Limited Edition" of 1000 each. But I could be wrong on the amount. I just hope they have some when we get there in 10 days.

Yikes, we won't be there until the end of October. Any word on the telephone number for OKW store? I'd love to have them hold a couple for me and hubby or let me pay and mail now.

They are Limited Edition. 1000 Men and 1000 Ladies. Both models were on display at the OKW general store on Tuesday afternoon.

are these available at all DVC resorts? we are going to be at SSR in mid-august and i am wondering if we would be able to get them then. any thoughts?

I would assume that each of the DVC stores would get an allotment to sell. Not sure if that is correct though.

The watches are numbered. The mens watch I bought is # 184/1000 and the ladies is #171/1000. I think the case that they are packaged in is more unique than the watches. Looks like a little suitcase.

I am leaving for HHI on Sunday, do you think they will have the watches there? I agree about the case, it reminds me of the display in the gift shop at the back entrance to Epcot. I always go in there and ask to buy one of their suitcase displays!

I do not see anything at all about being water proof or water resistant on the watch or on the box, so I guess they are not.
