DVC watch

I don't believe I've seen this posted but if and was and I missed it, I apologize. The last version of the DVC watches (colored face, leather band) have gone to the outlets. I picked up 3 (myself, wife and daughter) this week for $19.99 each. I didn't really need it, neither did my wife, and I am not a fan of the leather bands but I just couldn't pass them up for the price of a cheap timex.

I Love Character Premiere! I purchased 3 too, over the summer. I was there in October and they had received a new shipment in and the price had gone back up to $49, so it sounds like they marked them down again.

At SSR those watches were $125. They are Skagen and really durable for everyday wear.

I have the Fossil DVC watch, but dont wear it everyday because Im afraid I will scratch it up. I also have the Skagen DVC with the mesh band and gold face that I purchased at the outlet to for $25.

You cant even replace a battery for 20 bucks, so they are a great buy!

I don't know the name brand of mine, but it has the gold face with the DVC logo and the band is silver and gold. I love mine so much and wear it everyday. DH bought it for me our first trip using our DVC which was in 2004 and I just replaced the battery 2 weeks ago. Funny thing is, when we went to buy it, they didn't have anymore on Disney property in the women's style. They found this one for me at Vero Beach and mailed it to us!!!! Mine is 335 out of 1000. I wouldn't trade it for the world. My MIL thought my DH was crazy for buying it for me, but she hates when he spends money on me!!! She was even upset when we bought a cuckoo clock in Germany and a painting. I feel weird when I forget to wear my watch!!!

You have the Fossil! I kept a list of the numbers here when they first came out. I believe I ordered mine from VB also. I dont think those made it to the outlet, they were very popular and with only 1000 they were limited.

Back then they didnt really offer much in the way of DVC merchandise so we were all excited to get them.

There have been different versions. I think Dean ment it was one of the latest versions. I would have to say there will be more to come. Some one can correct me if I wrong

That's a good deal. I just purchased DH and I two off of eBay a couple of weeks ago. I paid $37.99 each, plus $7 total for shipping. They are Skagen brand with the black leather band. I can't wait to wear mine, but since I bought DH one for Christmas, I can't just yet!!!

Congrats, Dean, on getting one for $19.99 at the outlet mall! The sticker on the back of my box is a Disney sticker, and it looks like these originally sold for $125!

From what I'm hearing this trip, DVC is changing venders. They are phasing out the current inventory and have not got the stuff in from the new company. I don't know if the items be the same or different.

I don't have a way to post a picture right now but if you search ebay using the words disney vacation club watch, you will see 3 listed as of right now.

I just went on ebay and it is priced way higher than I would want to pay. Another reason I am sad I won't be a Disney in November/December, as I will not be able to make any trips to the Discount Disney Stores.

where is Character premier located?

The Premium outlets right outside of WDW. If you exit DTD area by the Crossroads, you make a right at the light, cross under the freeway and make a left at Lake Bryan (there's a restaurant on the left). The mall entrance is on the right. If you park by the food court (if you find parking at all) the Character Premier is to the right as you exit the food court doors.

My other favorite store is Coach Outlet and that is right across from it. That's why Premium Outlet is my favorite park! I can get there from SSR in less than 15 minutes I took a taxi from DTD to Premium Oultet last trip and it was $12 there and $15 back.

The Prime Outlets are about 15 miles from WDW and they also have a Character Outlet store.

Are we talking about the outlet store near WDW??? We are leaving for WDW tomorrow, if so, I am making a beeline for the outlet store. If anybody can give some insight on which store these are located, be much appreciated!!!

It's in the outlets close to Dixie Stampeed (which is now closed) and near the publix at the corner of I drive and Vineland.

Thanks guys!! I know where I am going Saturday!!! Maybe drag hubby into Coach while we are there. He'll be thrilled.
