DVC Waitlist

Hi everyone. I want to submit a waitlist for a trip for next year but I am currently unsure if I can go on that trip. I will find out within the next week or two if I can go or not. It is better to submit the waitlist now or wait until I am confident that I can go? Additionally, if I were to find out that I can't go, how difficult would it be to cancel a waitlist?

The wait list entry would appear on your "Dashboard" and can easily be cancelled if necessary.

Would it require you to borrow points if it fills? If not, no harm to start now.

If it does, then wait. If it filled and borrowed points and you can’t go those points are stuck

We would only be using banked points and current points. Follow up question: if the waitlist comes through, is the reservation automatically booked or do I have do something on my end to book it?
