Any advise for us as we try to decide where and how to purchase an additional 100-150 points to go along with our 400 points at Hilton Head?

We'd like onsite WDW property but aren't sure whether to go ahead and use our DVC sales person or go through the Timeshare programs offered - so any suggestions would be most welcome!

Thanks!
Rae

I'd go with whichever will get you the best deal. Just do the math, figuring in all costs and see where you can get what you want for the least amount.

Good Luck!

If you have a specific resort you want to stay at most of the time, I'd buy at that resort. Otherwise you must decide whether to buy through DVC or resale and what the relative value is of each option. You should be able to buy BCV and WLV through DVC directly and for 100 points, it's not worth worrying about where you buy them. OKW will have the cheapest dues, even with the increases, it will also be the easiest to get into with your HH points. If you want 150 points, you will have far more options resale and the values shift in favor of resale. Regardless, if you can get things going before 1 December, you can avoid the price increases that will invariably affect resale and the ROFR as well as purchases from DVC directly. Good luck.

If you know what you want and it is available via resale, I certainly wouldn't buy from Disney directly. You can always make offers and beat Disney's prices....but you can't always get "exactly" what you want when it comes to resales.
Call the brokers and get put on a waiting list if you need to.

Best of luck,
Shontell
