UPDATE - Sad to report that both Crockett the crockpot, as well as it's replacement have been lost in the system.
We knew the day would come, was fun passing it off from one family to the next, each signing it as it went.
This is one for the memory book.

Hi DVCers!
There is a Facebook group called "DVC traveling crockpot" that passes off a simple crockpot among owners. So far it has been a huge hit, although it looks like the Boardwalk is getting a little antsy about having it there (I know they do conventions, so the storage space is probably tight - it really needs to keep moving.)
It's really a cool little thing as each family has been signing it before passing it on, sometimes including bonus items (I added a cheap mixing bowl and large serving spoon.) It has its own following among the Bell service folk
Anyone need a loaner crockpot for a visit soon!?
It's totally free, and all just neighborly kindness. Join the group, view the signup genius page linked from within there. The facebook group keeps track of where "Crockett" is and the claim ticket image is passed off to the next person within there.
