When you check-in, can you purchase the tickets at the same time and have it added on your room key?

If you mean tickets for the parks.....no, you have to buy them at the parks, but I am pretty sure you can pay for them with the room key......:thumbsup2

But if I call before hand and have them added to my reservation, I'll have them on my room? We've done this before... in 2006. We didn't buy the tickets elsewhere so I'm thinking, we had them added to our reservation...
I'm confused...can you tell? lol

Every DVC resort should have a ticket concierge (limited hours, mostly normal business hours) so you can buy MYW tickets (not AP) at the resort.

But, every disney resort, including all stars let you buy packages (tickets and dining) you can add to a room and have those placed on your room key as you check in....why not DVC?

Yes, guest services at your resort can sell you the tickets and add it to your room key (except AP's). They can also add tickets you bought elsewhere (Undercover Tourist). DVC is the same as if you had a room only reservation at a non-DVC.

DVC does not yet have the package software, that is part of the cash reservation system, and the packages are owned by the Disney Travel Co, not DVC.

DVC and DTC/DRO are working on merging their reservation systems, so stay tuned.
