I'm trying to book a reservation. I put in my dates, I choose my resort, I choose my room type, I select continue, and I get this message:

No offers were found that matched your search criteria. Please try changing your dates, Resort or room type.

In the past I used to get alternatives, not just a rejection. I checked the availability tool and what i wanted was available. As an additional check I put in SSR for May 1 - May 8 1BR. There is NO WAY all of those are booked. But I got that same error message.

So I 'chatted' with one of the DVC people using the online chat feature. He told me that Safari doesn't work and you have to use Chrome.

So I downloaded Chrome and the same thing happened.

So I 'chatted' with another person who said he didn't know what the problem was and I have to call to make reservations.

Do any of you out there know why I'm getting this error message and how I can book online? I don't want to have to call to make reservations for the rest of my life.

I have a Mac and use Safari, and I just tried to do what you did and I got alternative resort offers. Not sure why they think Safari wouldn't work. Not sure of this was helpful. Good luck!

There is a DVC website support group, they may actually not work for DVC but they seem to know what they are doing.

Using the regular chat or talking to MS, you really aren't talking to a qualified support person.

I use Safari on my computer, iPhone and iPads and have no problems, so I don't know what tech is talking about. Sorry I can't help but wanted you to know that Safari is not the issue.

+1, I also use exclusively iproduct's with no problems at all. OP, try deleting cookies, restarting your machine, and logging back in to the site. If this doesn't work, try logging in from a different computer and see if that will work.

The same is happening to me right now, and I'm using Firefox on a Mac. I don't know what to do.

Sounds like it is a software problem.

when was the last time you updated your operating system?

If it was done recently Disney may not have updated its software yet to work on the latest software. If this is the case expect it to be fixed soon.

If you haven't updated your software and an update is available it's probably a good idea to download the update.... Good chance it may work after that. If you are using an old device and no updates are available it maybe time to think about getting a new device.

If you go to Vacation Planning>Resort Availability Tool that should help!

Long story short: I realized I could try using the website from my iPhone, and it worked fine. So i was able to book my vacation via the iPhone. My computer still can't book at DVCmember.com, and I never heard back from disney (they told me they'd investigate the issue and get back to me in 2-3 days and that was 5 days ago). But I can get on via the iPhone, log in, and then book the vacation.

I would clear your cookies and history on the computer and see if that opens it up there as well. Congratulations that it worked out for you.
