DVC stay June 2021

We were originally booked for an end of May/beginning of June 2020 dvc stay...but we all know how that ended. We are trying to rebook a dvc room for end of May/beginning of June 2021 once our booking window opens. If we want to go to the parks during our trip, do we need to purchase tickets on June 28? 3 in our party had annual passes, which we are still waiting for our refund. 2 had nonparkhopper tickets. So we would need to buy 3 sets of tickets. If we buy tickets but cannot get a park reservation, do we get a refund on the tickets? I'm so confused as to how this is all working (or maybe not working would better describe the situation).

I knew planning a Disney vacation was nuts before all this with having to decide where you want to eat 6 months away and what time you will ride attractions 2 months out, but this is next level madness.

You don’t have to buy unless you want to make park reservations now for those guests

From what I understand, when tickets go back on sale, you will be able to see what park days are available..might even have to choose them when you buy...so you won’t be purchasing without knowing.

How it will work exactly is unknown.
