When you make a reservation with your DVC points and request the DDP is there evidence of that anywhere on the confirmation? I am renting and have recieved my confirmation from the owner and do not se any evidence of the DDP anywhere. Does anyone have any experience with this?
I have 2 confirmations in my hands right now. One is for our Dec. trip which notes that we have the DDP. The other is for our Feb. trip. It does not have a notation for the DDP but we did request it. I called back to verify that we did have the DDP and MS confirmed. So the moral of the story is sometimes the confirmation will have a notation--sometimes not. If it will make you feel better, call to confirm.
This is somewhat of a hijack -- sorry -- but when you are renting points and doing the DDP does the DVC member have to call MS to make your ADR's or can you just call the regualr Disney Dining number to do it?
You can make your ADR's through the regular dining line. As I only have a cell phone I use the regular line instead of member services. Using the 800 number doesn't save me anything, but I do have free calling on weekends.
