When does DLR officially go on sale? I have been waiting and haven't seen anything yet.

Some said it will be on January, others said in February. I guess we don´t have any official date.

Just to clarify, you have the choice of 2 premium APs for DLR or two regular APs for WDW.

I purchased AKV at DLR in August. After several calls to my guide, I still haven't received my passes. I'd better get on the phone to QA.

I have heard the end of January. I am assuming this is for GCV founding members.

I had heard originally that they were only going to offer GCV to those who bought *in* California (we live in Arizona, and go to Disneyland like twice a month, but bought DVC before it came to DLR).

On another recent visit when we checked with a guide, they stated they would open it to all DVC members first, not just those who bought in California.

I stay at the Grand Californian probably 3 times a year when going, and would highly benefit from having it as a home resort. But again, bought in Florida. Does anyone know on this?

Also, since I am already an owner, is any purchase an add on? Also how does it work with points. I own 250 at SSR, so if I bought another 250 at GCV, could I book all 500 within the 11 month window at GCV as a home resort or only 250?

I will call for absolute answer's just curious for now.

You could only use your 250 VGC points at the 11 month window.

I bought at DLR in Sept specifically to get the guaranteed opportunity to become founding members and purchase at least 160 points at VGC. I think it does state that we will have a certain lead time before anyone else who doesn't have this option. I don't have the contract in front of me.

As long as I am guaranteed the opportunity to buy I don't mind or care when everyone else has the opportunity to buy in. However at this point, due to the economy I doubt that it would be much of an issue anyway.

Really? Can you give me a guide's name? Of course, I would use you as a referral! However, I am only purchasing 40 pts! Do you think that would be enough for the free tickets? You can PM me with the info! Also, can you explain what the premium passes are? Annual passes?

Existing members cannot use people as referrals when they purchase an add on. Referrals are for new members who do not already have guides assigned. And we limit referral discussions and offers to our Ongoing Discussion thread stuck on top of the DVC boards.
