DVC "seasons"?

As a renter, and hopefully future owner, I was suprised to see that there seems to be seasons, just like the other resorts have. I can understand holidays being higher points, but I'm having a hard time finding where the seasons begin and end. Can anyone point me in the right direction to finding this information?

It's simply a method to try to even out the usage for different times of the year. It seems to work pretty well all things considered.
