DVC Retirement

I would love this "walking ticket" however we would love the option of eating in the restaurants. Years ago when my brother lived in Florida, there was a Florida pass for Epcot that was after 4PM. I would love that for our vacations.
I believe there used to be a pass just to shop on main st in Disneyland

Our longest stay (to date) is three weeks and we could easily stay longer. We are fortunate enough to have almost 3000 points so we have a lot to play with. My husband is about 2 years from retiring and four years is the earliest for me.

We haven't decided on how we are going to travel when we are both retired. I'd like to travel to more places than just WDW, but it's also an easy choice bc we can stay on points. And we love staying there.

This is totally my dream! We enjoy the resorts more than the parks at this point. I wish they'd sell an Epcot walking-only pass, because that's my favorite thing; just walking around the World Showcase in the morning with coffee or at night soaking up the atmosphere. We're in MA and love New England, so not looking to move, but Seasonal Affective Disorder is real, man, and I'd like to retire and do either MLK-President's Day or President's Day to St. Patrick's Day timeframe. FARTS is great, but if we're going to get away, I think I lean more towards February-March to get some actual warm temperatures. January is still rainy/chilly when I've gone.

I think we could do at least three weeks in a studio, and I would just do a 1B maybe in between a couple days to have some space from each other since I'm a crazy early bird and DH is a night owl.
This w/ restaurant access.

I had the Epcot after 4 pass for years before they got rid of it. It was perfect for us, especially during F&W.

Never heard of an Epcot walking only pass.

ETA: Waaaaay back when they had general admission, and you needed to purchase A,B,C,D,E tickets for attractions… That could indeed be a walking pass, however I believe that was long gone before Epcot.

I very dimly recall a shopping pass---maybe an hour or so? You paid the price for a ticket, and if you got back out and to the desk within the time limit, they'd refund (most of?) the price of the ticket. If memory serves, that was during the pay-one-price days, post A-E tickets.

I remember hearing about this, too! If you were out in less than an hour, your ticket was refunded. I can't remember if you had to show proof of buying something.

I think that made sense for epcot when there wasnt a lot of rides or distractions, now the park has some of the best rides. They dont even let people that have tickets now in without a reservation 🤣

Date-based tickets don't require reservations, annual passes still do though sadly.
