What are the current DVC restaurant discounts? Planning a November trip and trying to decide whether Tables in Wonderland worth the extra expense for an AP (that we otherwise won't need) and the TIW card itself. TIA!

you realize that these discounts change all the time?

there is a list online when you log onto the member site, but i wouldn't count on the list being identical in november.

Yes, we know they change all the time -- and that they seem to have dwindled over the years, as have many other DVC perks. Just couldn't find them on the member website for some reason. But now I've tracked 'em down. Thanks.

The restaurants are the ones extending the dining discounts when they have seats to fill. If you notice, many of the dining discounts are for lunch during the week.

As a passholder, DVC member and central FL resident, I would like to see more discounts offered but really don't see that happening. That's why we purchase the Tables in Wonderland card which gives us a better discount (20%) and the discount is good on alcohol.

We actaully did one trip just off the discounts, but back then, there were alot more to choose from.
Hope it all works out for you :cool2:

I am new to DVC but, if my math is right, you will need to spend $375 to break even using the TIW card ($375 x 20% = $75). So if you are pretty confident that you will spend that, then it might be a good deal. You'll have to figure out the difference in the AP to the regular tix purchase difference and add that to see if it is worth it. Good luck, lte us know how you make out.

If you eat your big meals at lunch the DVC Disc should be fine.

The other thing to check is restaurants.com. If you watch for their coupouns, you can get a $25 gift certificate for as low as $3. I know they've vhad them for Schula's and the house of Blues.
