DVC Resorts and Bounceback Offers

We're staying at Bay Lake Tower in August and want to book a bounceback when there. We're not DVC members, but I'm curious -- are bouncebacks offered when you stay anywhere on property? Even though we're staying at a DVC resort, we should be able to book one, right?

Yes you can it's anywhere on property. Although as you probably know some properties are excluded from being offered for your future stay, like the AoA LM rooms, the bungalows at Poly, etc. That you probably knew. We tried on our last trip to do a bounce back and the dates just didn't gel.

I have the brochure from our AKL stay this month, looks like they have future stays for 5/28 through 8/30 in the bounceback window listed. Shows up to 30% off deluxe, up to 25% mod and up to 20% on value. Our window was early/mid november and it was not on there

The current offer ends on 8/15, so I'm hoping the new one will have dates that work for us next year.

The current offer ends halfway through my trip, so I'm really hoping either one of them works for me and my next trip. I stayed at BL last year and booked a bounceback perfectly fine with a big 30% off room discount.

Was the BB room you booked for 30% off also at BLT?

I thought that villas were always excluded from BBs?

Monorail villas are almost always excluded from a bounceback booking, but those staying in them can book a bounceback.
They just won't be booking a bounceback for the type of unit they have.

Was the BB room you booked for 30% off also at BLT?

No, it was for WL (DH wanted to stay there while it was decorated for Christmas). I'm not sure if it was available since I already knew I wanted WL so I didn't ask.

I thought that villas were always excluded from BBs?

Some villas are included in the bounce back offer but it is always subject to availability. When we booked a bounce back for June the Board Walk had a 2 bedroom villa available with the BB discount. I know that Copper Creek villas were excluded, though.
