DVC Resort Pins?

I have some Disney pins that cost me over $10,000.
Because the only way to get them is to go on an Adventures By Disney trip.

BLT pins have been hard to find. We looked and looked for the one the first couple of years after we bought in 2009 and then talked to an DVC associate at BWV and he gave us one for BLT. He had been work DCL cruises for DVC and had picked them up there. Now that BLT is sold out you will just need to keep an eye out for one. Sometimes they are issued in multipacks with other resort pins. I think the problem with BLT DVC pins is that the resort it is attached too, Contemporary Resort, has a different name than BLT. Other resorts like Beach Club are close enough to the DVC name or the Disney Resort that folks just accept any pins with the same name on them.

These are the BLT pins in my collection:
One that says "Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort" on a greenish-grey representation of the tower, issued as one of 4 pins in a set (common)
Mickey and Minnie on the castle looking at BLT, issued individually and as part of a set (common)
Mickey and the monorail, with "Bay Lake Tower" written above (uncommon)
Chip and Dale, monorail, and BLT with "Disney Vacation Club" written in middle (uncommon)
Mickey at an easel with view of BLT (rare)
One that simply says "Bay Lake Tower" (rare)

Wow! I've never seen any resort pins on any CM's lanyard (the only way I get almost all my pins). I'm lucky enough to have a HHI resort pin, but I won that in a trivia contest there.

I also try to get a pin for each resort I stay at, but it doesn't necessarily have to be a pin that has the resort's name on it. For example, the first time we stayed at the GFV, I saw a Mary Poppins pin that says "practically perfect in every way", which considering the theming of the villas and how I felt about my stay there, made it the perfect choice! Don't be afraid to choose a pin that just reminds you of the resort!!

Yes, I looked there too but no luck. Thanks for the suggestion though. I’ll try to remember to check there again on future trips!

We looked for BLT pins a couple of weeks ago, but no luck - but there were Contemporary pins at the Contemporary store and the Pin Traders in the Springs Marketplace.
