DVC Resort hopping

Has anyone heard anything about resort hopping. We are staying at SSR July 2nd-5th and would hope to visit some of the DVC resorts for a look around and to eat. Parks will be closed so hoping this is something we can do. Are home resort is BRV hopefully we can at least get in there for a visit.

Nothing official has come out to ban it, It is our plan as well. There will be no transportation to other resorts, other than from DS...and then again, Disney may not even provide transportation to DS during those DVC open times,

So, you’d have to find a way there...which, means, if driving..they may stope you. If you come by Uber, maybe or maybe not!

We are at VGF so will be able to walk to Poly and will play the rest by ear when we get there!

We are also hoping the same thing. Might be a good time to try all the resort restaurants we've always been wanting to try!

We are renting a car in case Disney transportation is not yet up and running.

We are at the poly July 3-6 and I would like to eat at Kona but I am not sure it will be open

The DVC website says there will be QS and restaurants available but the could have limited options, and menus,

So, something will be open. Which ones and how they will work won’t be known until the open.

I would be surprised to see more than one TS at each resort, and even that, be pretty limited.

Today, the 737 union called back workers assigned for house keeping for all DVC resorts. They also called back workers for specific restaurants at those resorts.
WL- whispering canyon and roaring fork
BW- trattoria, pizza window, and be bakery
AKL- Sanaa, Mara, maji
Contemp- the wave and contempo cafe
FW-p&J's takeout and meadow snack bar
GFV- GF Cafe and gasparilla
OKW-olivias and goods to go
SSR- artist pallette And paddock
BCV-beaches and cream and beach club market place
Poly-kona cafe, capt cooks, pineapple lanai
Riv- Toppolinos, la petite cafe, and primo piatta

I'm guessing this will be all that is open at resorts during the first phase. I'm willing to bet more open closer to the July park opening dates

Thanks for sharing. That is a good list and at least we have something.
Now, if we could get some selfies about pools, we’d be all set!

Hopefully they will have these restaurants up and running for the first day of DVC guest returning. These are some good options as I was thinking it would only be QS. We will be at SSR 7-2 to 7-5 so if these restaurants are available and we can resort hop this will add a lot of options to feel like a normal resort only stay that we are used too. Now if we can get some info about transportation we can start too have some fun! We will have our car but if we can use buses from DS to resort hop that will be a great bonus!
