DVC resort check-in time

I apologize in advance if this has already been discussed - I ran a search and did not find anything...

We are checking into our 1BR villa at the Grand Floridian on May 13. I received an email overnight, and to my surprise it says, "Check-in: 3 p.m. Check-out: 11 a.m."



I always thought that check-in for DVC was at 4pm... Has there been a change in policy that I missed? Or this this just a mistake in the email???

Check in is really after 7:00 AM when the accounting system starts a new day. Room ready for DVC is after 4:00 PM. Often the room is available earlier.

I have never known it by 3pm either! I hope they have changed the rules! They might be mixing it up with a cash reservation.

The email is wrong. I sure would love it if we would all (me included) start forwarding that email to Those In Charge so that they would know what's being sent out.

Do the checkin process at any point after 6 or 7am, though, when the computers switch over. If you want. Just don't expect a room until after 4.
