Vote for the DVC resort(s) which, in your personal opinion, should win in the category of “Best Recreational Opportunities”.

I have excluded the two offsite DVC resorts from consideration in this poll. I would suggest voting for your top one to three choices in this category, and then optionally adding a reply outlining your vote and the reason(s) behind your vote.

1. Saratoga Springs

Four really enjoyable pools with planned activities and movies, bikes, walking paths, tennis courts, golf, boats at Downtown Disney, fishing, fitness center and I consider the Spa to be my favorite recreational activity.:thumbsup2

got to go with DonaldDole on this one - just too many opportunities at BLT to recreate!:thumbsup2

Here's how I scored them:

1.) SSR-love the beautiful landscaping and relaxing walking paths

2.) BLT-just a whole lot of options!!!

3.) BCV-SAB...should I say anymore!!!!

Me, too! :yay:

1) BLT - Lots of boat rentals, tennis courts, etc.

2) BWV - Great jogging paths, goofy golf, great pool slide, and wonderful entertainers on the Boardwalk.

We agree.

1) BWV - over 21 nightlife, great pool slide, good walking/jogging, bike rentals/paths, tennis courts, walking to parks, boat rentals across the way.

2)OKW - on the golf course, volleyball, basketball, quiet pools, bikes, walking

3) VWL - guessing on this, but the location, with crescent lake and all, I'd give it a shot for sure

:thumbsup2 You had me at four enjoyable pools. Agreed and just a few of the reasons we chose SSR. :woohoo:

In no particular order

SSR - golf, pools, walking paths, close to DTD.

WLV - close to Fort Wilderness and all the activities there, lake activities.

BLT - boat rentals, jet ski, parasailing, beach, tennis, ample walking/jogging paths, close to Fort Wilderness and all the activities there, and very convenient for pool hopping to Poly, GF, and WL

Although I am clearly a BLT person, I voted SSR. With a short walk to golf and a spa, it is hard to pick somewhere else.

We also agree!!!

I went with SSR, BLT and BCV, but BWV was a close 4th (only because nightclubs might not qualify as recreation :) )

I went with BLT because of the Sammy Duval water stuff. I actually parasailed a couple years ago.

If VB were an option, that would be the clear winner.

I forgot that SSR has two really nice playgrounds, arcade, and a basketball court, too. Love the BBQ grills at four locations.

I think this is why SSR is so dear to me, after 25 plus years of going to Disney, the theme parks are not our main focus anymore. On some days we don't go to any parks.

SSR has alot to offer to those that are looking for a total package not just a theme park vacation.

Having golf and a Spa right at our door is a huge draw for us. :thumbsup2

VWL Boating and Biking from there are the most fun for me.

My top choices would be:

1) BCV
2) BLT
3) VWL

:goodvibes

BCV for Stormalong Bay!

BLT for the fun along Bay Lake; same for VWL (biking and trails).

BWV has the great nightlife of the boardwalk.
