Vote for the DVC resort(s) which, in your personal opinion, should win in the category of “Best Overall Resort” (i.e., your favorite resort of them all).

I have excluded the two offsite DVC resorts from consideration in this poll, even though one of them may be your favorite. I would suggest voting for your top one to three choices in this category, and then optionally adding a reply outlining your vote and the reason(s) behind your vote.

BLT - more upscale than other resorts, monorail, beautiful 1-bedroom and grand villas, and incredible views

this is so personal to me - my absolute favorite resort and our home base.:lovestruc

since I can't say HHI, then SSR.:cheer2:

It is the best fit for us, in all ways. :thumbsup2

SSR offers the best of many world's to me. The resort itself is pretty quiet, especially the quiet pools. BUT if you want some action DTD is super close, and transportation for us has never been a major concern.

This is a tough one!
They almost all have different reasons for being the best. I don't think any one can be best in all categories - just depends on what each has to offer.

AKV over VWL mainly because AKV has the grand villa option. Also it's newer and has some nice updates, such as the flat screen TVs.

Another that would have said HHI - from the CM's on, the resort is fabulous.

I ended up voting for BWV, for the convenience of walking to Epcot and HS, and the other surrounding resorts.

That being said - I haven't stayed at a DVC resort that wouldn't happily return to.

I really like them all, and would be thrilled to be at any one of them now instead of being here at work. I think that my favorite is BCV, but only by a hair. The ability to waltz into EPCOT is what makes it so special to me along with the theme. It's a tough choice we all have to make visiting these resorts, but someone has to do it.

I agree.

Another one here that would put HHI in my top 3 - but home is where the heart is so AKV!
Just wondering which one resort is DVC Mike's favorite of them all???:confused3

I like them all but I have 3 best overall. I have 3 types of stays and not one particular resort fits the "Best Overall".

OKW for most stays, I could drone on and on and usually do about it's virtues.
BWV when it's Epcot and Star Wars Week-End, it makes no sense to stay anywhere else.
AKV The Savanna view is simply good for my soul, I can sit on that balcony for ever, the kids are in bed or not up yet. It's my time, same with OKW.

Taking the time to breath it all in, that's for me which is why Vero has a part in this too! Of course the kids prefer the hustle and bustle.

Boardwalk! Boardwalk! Boardwalk!:love::love::love:

The views...The Convenience...The Points Charts...The Atmosphere...The Performers...The Activities..

What's not to love?

oh yeah...the maintenance fees. :sad2:
But still...literally...a small amount to pay for the absolute best DVC resort!

This was a tough choice! I ultimately chose VWL b/c it was our first stay as DVC'ers. I have such special memories of our trip home there, from the day we got to be a flag family, to seeing our kids expressions as it was their first trip to Disney.:goodvibes
I also love the proximity to MK and we loved taking the boat back and forth.

I voted for SSR, BWV, and BCV.

SSR was our first home resort, and we loved it from the minute we saw it. Enjoy the overall feel of this resort. We've stayed in 4 of the 6 sections and haven't had a bad room yet.

BCV is our second home resort. We love it for the SAB pool and the proximity to Epcot.

Fell in love with the rooms, view, and location when we visited BWV last month. When we entered the villa for the first time, I had addonitis before we even got past the kitchen.

I love SSR & BWV. When we stay at one, there is always something we miss about the other. So we pretty much stay excusively that these two places.:lovestruc
