Food and merchandise discounts are still debatable.

I may be mistaken, but aren't those used as incentives to buy direct, and therefore blue card discounts only?

"Certain" discounts are considered "Membership Extras" which are restricted. There's no clear definition of those "certain" discounts.

I believe the food and merchandise discounts are supposed to be blue card benefits, but most CM's don't care whether you are a blue or white card holder. If your magic band comes up as a DVC member, you get the discount.

They will likely fix that I bet. But at Hilton Head, you didn't even need a car. Guess it was just up to the honor policy there. On our first visit they ask if we were members, and I said no, of course. And on our second visit, they ask if we were members, and I said yes. No one ask for a card of any type. Good thing, cause I don't have one. LoL.
