DVC renting points

If I were to rent points for Aulani through Davids rentals, would I still get the $400 resort credit??
Never rented points before, would not mind some input or tips from those who have rented through Davids.

I'm pretty sure that when using points you don't get any specials that the resort is offering. I believe that is a cash reservation offer.

Correct. No discounts of any kind, like free dining or kids eat free or anything. I never heard of a $400 resort credit offer, but it would fall in the same category.
