DVC renting and the DDP ?

My family and I have just rented points for Sept and I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it is possible to get the DDP added onto our ressie through the gentleman we rented from (he has never had to mess with the DDP for someone else), and do we have to purchase tickets as well? Also anyone happen to know about how much the regular DDP costs for 2 adults and 1 child (7)? I would appreciate any info on this!

Yes, the owner can order DDP for you up to 48 hours before arrival and it must be paid when ordered. If not ordered that way you cannot get it when you arrive. The sticky part is how to pay for it since the member has to add it;you as the non-member cannot add it.
