DVC renting and dining

Just a quick question I'm sure I read the answer to somewhere before but cannot relocate: if you rent DVC points from someone, they have to be the one to add the dining plan, right? I can't just call and give my ressie number and add it myself?

That is correct, the owner need to sign you up. And full payment is due when you 'order it'. You have to book at least 48 hours ahead of arrival.

Should be able to now, but it does have to be paid in full when added.
