I receive a newsletter from DVCRentalStore and have noticed they have a TON of confirmed reservations available. Not shocking with the current events but curious if we could see major price reductions on those due to the inventory levels? I would snag another quick trip in the next few months on the cheap if possible. Thanks for the responses in advance!

We are in the middle of reserving a couple of rentals. I decided I did not want to wait to see if my reservation would get cancelled or moved by Disney as all the rumors circulating around about resort closures. We were cabins and I changed to 2 all star movie rooms to save money But now I got a 2 bedroom villa at Animal Kingdom Kidani Village instead for half of the trip and working on a studio for the rest. Assuming those with reservations get first priority when selecting parks, we should be good. Its my sisters first trip, now she is going to be ruined for staying in the dvc 2 bedroom her first time!

I don't know if anyone can answer that at the moment. If they do not open up the reservation system or do not allow new reservations for 2020, the only way to book onsite may become DVC rentals and then demand, I would assume, would be higher.

Chances are those are renters who can’t go but DVC resorts are open and they are attempting to re rent so original owner can get some money back.
