DVC Rental Question

Hi All,
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum. If I were to rent some points would I still have access to the discounted ticket packages that are available if I book a Disney hotel package?

Park tickets would be normal pricing. The only tickets saving DVC owner get is on AP's........

No - what you would actually be renting is a reservation made using DVC points. The reservation is for accommodations only. The member you rent from can add the dining plan and Magical Express to the accommodation and you would pay for the dining plan at check-in (not to the member). There is no charge for Magical Express.

Theme Park admission is not included with DVC accommodations and no packages are available thru a DVC member.

You could order your park tickets from one of the ticket brokers who have them at a discount that amounts to a savings of about the tax on them or you could pre order from Disney and that is also a savings I think.
