DVC rental plus family

I am planning to bring along my parents and sibbling along with my spouse and kids. I am picking up the room but they're on their own for everything else. I know they will need their own app registration which if I understand correctly ties into the room. Is there a way to tie reservations together - e.g genie plus selections or dinner reservations the 90 days out - but also do these separately as I don't think my parents are going to be able to keep all four days. Our last trip with two kiddos was incredible fun, but whoa we were hosed!

Everyone needs to make their own MDE accounts. Then you link them together as "friends and family" after that you can see and manage everyone's plans and reservations.

all that stuff is easier through the website, I’m not even sure you can do it through the app, but I’d suggest just using a computer to do it all. It’s not too hard to do.

The website or app will walk you through it (I prefer the website on a laptop/desktop because I’d rather work in a larger screen). First each family should create their own MDE account. One adult will “own” the account and will list the other family members in their F&F list. Then you will use your MDE account to add that adult to your F&F list by sending an email from your MDE, inviting them to plan and share with you. Then you’ll send emails to that same adult, again via MDE, asking them to give you permission to plan and share with each of their family members that they “manage.” It takes a little while, depending on how many people there are, but once they’re all in your F&F list and you have permission to plan and share with each one of them (and also to view their photos, don’t forget that), then when booking dining reservations, buying Genie+, booking VQs, Genie+LLs or ILL$, it’s just a matter of checking off the names who will participate in that activity (and not checking those who won’t).
