We were able to book bounce back, our DVC rental was in June and the bounce back offer is showing up!

Yes! You definitely can - just remember to do it within 7 days of departure. You can even call while you are at Disney!

Yes. I know google searches on this subject come up with wrong answers on top.

As long as you have an onsite reservation, you can book bounceback. You can dial extension 8844 from the in-room phone, or call (407) 934-7639 within 7 days from checkout.

You just need to be one of the registered guests listed on an onsite reservation. If you have a WDW resort reservation number with your name among the occupants, you qualify. Doesn’t matter how you got there.

Just came back last month from Bay lake tower on rented points. Booked the bounce back offer for the next May at Coronado. Since I go twice a year one trip is on rented points the next trip is usually with a bounce back and I've never had a problem booking it. I have no idea why Google says you can't. Even David's DVC has told people they're not allowed to book bounce back offers either.

Agree! I stayed on both rented points and cash last year. Booked 2 BB offers based off the rented points and one from the cash stay. Made no difference how they were booked.
