DVC rental and FP+

O if we rent DVC points, I know we need to buy tickets and link them to out account. I assume there is a way to link to our DVC rental confirmation as well. Will we then be eligible for making reservations for FP+ at the 60 day mark?

We have rented points before and we were a test group for FP+ last year at a resort. But this will be our first time combining the two...

Yes. I rented my points to my neighbor and she just entered the room reservation confirmation in MDE, then bought her tickets and entered the ticket #s to set up her FP+. Easy peasy!!

And it is considered a resort stay to qualify at 60 days, not at 30 days or anything?

DVC Resorts are Disney Resorts, so the 60 day FP+ window applies as long as you have admission linked to MDE.

The mouse will always get his cheese. There is no way around this one. Great question BTW.

I know Disney is always good at getting their cheese - it is more whether they are going to find a way to treat those of us that save our cheese as second class citizens! It seems like DvC rental is still the best of both worlds. Thanks to all of you who make your points available!
