DVC Rental and DDP

We rented points from a DVC member over 7 months ago for our trip in 2 weeks. Last week we went through the member to purchase the dining plan. Since I had gift cards I just gave the number to him and he purchased it for us. I was sent a confirmation from Disney that it was added but it is not showing up as part of my reservation. Is this normal or should I see it?

It's not unusual, in my opinion for things to not show up or disappear and reappear on MDE if that's what you mean by not showing up as part of your reservation. I entered my AP and F&W 1/2 marathon after hours park party ticket info in MDE and sometimes it's there and sometimes not, it's currently back so happy not to have to call MS before our trip next week. Good you did get an email confirmation, if it doesn't show up before you leave I would call so you don't have to dink around with it when you get there, that can be very frustrating.

I don't think the DDP shows up in MDe certainly mine never does. The confirmation email should be all you need.

Thank you. I actually called today and was told this is a known issue.

I would play it safe and bring a copy of the comfirmation, just in case!

My dinning plans (for a split stay in a month) do not show up on MDE, however they do show up on the DVC member site in 'upcoming vacations.'
