DVC - Reasonable idea of rates for time frame?

Hey,

We are traveling to Florida A:5/29/2012 and depart 6/3/2012.

I understand this is sort of a fluid question that can't be answered definitively I know - but it pertains to whether we try to stay on property through DVC points rental or stay somewhere else.

Considering it's the beginning of the Summer - is $12 or $13 point reasonable? Or are there better opportunities to be had?

Any thoughts or advice? Good or bad. I appreciate it!

you're probably going to be edited as you cannot ask for a rental (overtly or implied) except on the DVC rent/trade board.

you are free to hunt around and see what you can negotiate. some of it will depend on which resort you prefer...

There are definite pros to renting, but familiarize yourself with all of the cons associated with renting a reservation.

As for price, it's hard to say. You could find cheaper, but I would count on $12.
