DVC Promo Tix and UPGRADE inquiry

Quick Inquiry; Has anyone purchased the DVC Promo 4 day Tix for $199 and upgraded? How does it work? I called MS and the CM told me to just buy the AP if that is the way I was going to go.....hmmmm confused. Has anyone successfully done this? How much did it cost extra? Thanks!

DVC four day promo tickets price won't change in the future, so there would be no advantage to use a day and "bridge" to an AP.

Buy what you're going to use in the 365 days from the first day of park entry. In other words, if you're going to have more than one trip in that time frame, just buy the AP and be done with it. If just one trip from the day of first park entry with the DVC 4 day pass through the next year, then obviously an AP wouldn't be worth it, and the four day ticket would be a great discount versus a 4 day MYW ticket.

We bought the Promo ticket for use in December. We have talked about upgrading, but we haven't yet.

When I ordered them, I explained that I might want to upgrade, but I wasn't sure yet, and the CM said that I would simply get the $199 off of the AP price if I decided to do it.

So, I got the tickets to make my FastPass+ reservations, but I still haven't decided about the AP.

Thank you....just turning to the "experts" since CM was very unsure of the "value" of that 4 day tix being turned into an AP.
