DVC price guarantee question

Hello! I phoned ABD today and am looking at an Oct 2017 Backstage Magic Adventure. I was told the early booking rate would be available until June 16 this year. I did not mention that we are DVC members, but I saw something on this board about a low price guarantee for DVC members? Does this mean we can wait until after June 16 and still receive the early booking discounted price? Appreciate any info, thanks!

You get opening day prices whenever you book an ABD if you are a DVC member. But my understanding is that that does not include the early booking rate, which really *is* only good until June 16th, and there are only a limited number of reservations per departure that qualify for that discount (many trips ran out of discounts within a couple of days of the itineraries coming out in April). So if you wait past June 16, you'll get the actual opening date price, but you won't get the discount. Plus the fact anyone could book the last discount rate at any time. If you really want this trip with the discounted rate, I wouldn't wait. But you may want to call ABD and verify all this.

We joined DVC after booking our ABD, but the final balance still isn't due for a little while yet - is there any point flagging we're now DVC members?
