Preview Expedition Everest™
Members are invited to take a sneak "peak" at Expedition Everest — Legend of the Forbidden Mountain™ Jan. 26-29, 2006, at Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park.

The new thrill attraction, opening officially in April, sends Guests on a high-speed train adventure into the Himalayas for a face-to-muzzle encounter with the legendary Yeti.

Each Member who presents his/her Disney Vacation Club Member ID during the sneak "peak" event may enjoy this preview with as many as three Guests. As an added bonus, you and your Guests will each receive a complimentary Expedition Everest lanyard and pin (limit one set per person during the four-day event). Disney's FASTPASS® service will be also be available during the preview.

Get ready for the Yeti!

Oh, yes - it is good news. Knowing that EE isn't scheduled to open until late Spring, I was still hoping against hope that they might be running test rides while we are at WDW for our first trip Home at the end of January. A friend into rollercoasters assured me that it was far too early to expect anything.

And then we received the e-mail you quoted! It's not only going to happen, but we're at the World on January 26, 27, & 28 - 3 out of the 4 preview days: Bingo!!! Just in time for the birthday, too.

Susan - Oh, we are just a little bit excited....38 days and counting.

We just became DVC members in September (bought SSR sight unseen at DisneyLand), and are booked both on a 4-day Wonder cruise followed by a few days in the World at OKW. Our first time on DCL, at WDW (or Florida in general), and with DVC. We sort of went over the top with pirate costumes for the cruise, too -- and now Expedition: Everest. Life is good.

Not sure the next trip (DVC Member cruise in October) will be able to top this one, but we'll be sure to report.

Hope you have the best time. We think SSR is wonderful and the location can't be beaten.

I am sure Everest will be one of the best rides at WDW and you will be getting a sneak preview. So pleased for all the DVCers who get in early, especially the DISers.
