DVC Points Question

Trying to understand if this situation is possible.

• If I have the previous year's points banked (320 points)
• Current years points (320)
• Borrow next years points (320)

So is it possible to basically gather up 3 years of points (960 points) this way and use it for a Disney cruise?

I believe that you can do exactly as you stated, use 100% banked and borrowed for a total of 300% of your normal allotment! (once the restriction is lifted)

1 more thing, you may be better off using cash for the cruise as you can easily rent your points for $15/point. check the point total needed for the cruise and compare it to the cash price- you might be surprised. we have found that the best use of points is for DVC properties ONLY!

Yep, when you use points for a cruise (direct points only unless they are grandfathered from long ago), they become reservation points and cannot be used for DVC reservations if you need to cancel. You have to use the for a DCL, ABC or a Disney Hotel (not DVC).
