DVC point ?

I have reservations from 2-14-03 through 2-21-03 using 252 points. 200 are banked points from 2002 and 52 are from February 2003 (I have a Feb use year).
This was to be our 1st DVC trip & now something has come up that may cause us to have to cancel. My question is this.....
Will I lose points if I cancel at this late date?

Not if you cancel quickly. You are beyond 31 days out, so there will be no penalty for cancellation and your points will not be in reservation status. You will, however, need to use those banked points (as usual)by January 31, 2004.

I am, of course, assuming that the reservation is at one of the DVC resorts.

Yes Doctor P....it's for 2 nights at OKW & 5 at BCV.
We are brand new DVC owners and I wasn't sure what would happen to 2002's points if we cancelled. I thought we would be okay with 2003's points but the banked points I was confused about.
