DVC point manager

Ok everybody, my DH has been working hard on his DVCManager program to track DVC points. He's up to version 1.4. It can track points at multiple resorts, keep track of bank/borrow and points used, it keeps a running total of points in each use year. No Excel or MSWorks needed. And best of all its free!! NEVERMIND-------it may take me a few minutes, but I figured it out. This looks like it will be something great, IF I ever book a vacation or do anything. Haven't made the first reservation yet, and it is about to kill me...

seems like a great program - thanks. My only prob is that I can't get it to fit on my screen. Can't read the bottom. res 800x600. Any ideas?

UPDATE
It looks really great... I've got the same screen size problem though? I don't know how to change the resolution....

The only other thing, it wouldn't let me borrow points from my 2002 use year, it said can't borrow from previous use year... then tried to put it in as a bank, and it said, can't bank points from an upcoming use year... hmmm!!

I'm having the same problem - can't scroll or resize the screen, and can't get to the stuff on the bottom.

Looks like it's exactly what I need though. Thanks...

I really need this program. After this morning, when I made my December reservation, I realized I had 98 points to use this year or I lose them (since they were banked from 1999, I guess). I kept thinking the points I have now would be used in December but NO. I had to borrow from my 2001 point bank.

A good program will really help me! Thanks in advance.

To change the resolution, go to the control panel:

start, then settings, then control panel, then display, then settings.

Changing screen area from 800 X 600 to
1024 X 768 seems to do it.

Thanks for the feedback everybody! I'm glad you like the program. He is working on some changes now (resolution, being able to maximize, and a few other things). We'll probably get it updated and I'll post it to the boards then. Thanks again.

I am SOOOO VERY GRATEFUL for people that take the time to help out those of us that can't help ourselves! I had a great time this morning putting in our points and contracts when I couldn't sleep. I'm a fanatic about organizing and I hadn't yet come up with a better mousetrap than the old excel spreadsheet. What a super way to start out my day...

I've run into a problem entering my contracts. If the dates between contracts are 4 years (say Jan 92 and Jan 96), everything is fine. But if the date span is 5 years (Jan 92 and Jan 97), I get an Invalid Page Fault . Since two of my add-ons were in 94 and 2000, that's a problem! (Of course I initially assumed a Y2K problem, but 92 and 97 blow it up just fine.)

Anybody else having the same problem? I've only tried it on my work PC so far (Win98SE), so it may not affect all PCs. BTW, I'm also a Windows programmer, so I can sympathize with your DH

Had the same problem with my home pc, so I'm just going to copy over that dll from my work pc.
Haven't done it yet, but it should work.
