DVC Point Insurance? Disney or elsewhere?

Does anyone purchase the insurance? Has it covered you for COVID-19?

Has anyone purchase insurance for their points from so other source? Has it covered you?

What about cancel for any reason insurance for your own points?

I don’t but have read many policies are not covering for COVID.

I can relate our experience....

We buy Travelex every year. 2020? They refuse to cover anyone, for anything WDW related.
Next trip? We will stick with Delta AIRFARE insurance, as this tends to be the weak link. Never Travelex again...

Oh - a highlighted portion of there letter, regarding 2020 trip claims....

"Please note that Trip Cancellation claims for fear of exposure to Coronavirus/COVID-19, travel restrictions due to the virus, and flight or tour cancellations due the virus are not listed as covered events under a standard trip cancellation policy."

Oh yes - dumping these folks. Insurance is insurance when insurance PERFORMS. Travelex does not perform.
