DVC point addon promotions?

anyone know if there are any incentives or promotions to addon points right now? i am thinking about buying 25 more points

I can't think of a time when DVC has had incentives for purchases lower than 50 points. 100 has usually been the floor for any incentive purchases.

Curious... When the add on promotions are done, are they the 'going rate' at your home resort, or something less than that, like based on your original purchase price? Still trying to figure all this out, thanks!

DVC will charge you whatever the price is at the time... it's not based on what you bought before or when. The price per point will sometimes be lower the more points you buy for an add on. These discounts typically start at the 100 point level, but sometimes they start at the 50 point level. 25 points is the minimum add on, but i've never seen them offer discounts at the 25 point level.

Prices for DVC points have only gone up up up. So if you are certain you are ready to buy, it doesn't make sense to wait.

I would check out resale as well... you can still add on via resale and you will pay a far lower price. However, this only works if you are able to pay full price, don't need to finance, and know about, understand, and accept the restrictions recent placed on resale points.
