DVC Pin

Does anyone know that when you join DVC do you receive a Disney Vacation Club pin? I have seen the pins but understand they are possibly not available anymore.

As far as I know, no, you do not receive a pin when you join.
There are DVC pins that you can purchase, though.

I purchased through the resale market and my realtor sent me a gift package containing a DVC pin and pins from each of the DVC resorts. She sent them around Christmas so they should still be available.

If you tour SSR, the guides have pins of SSR they can give you, but you might have to ask.

When we joined in 03, our guide saw that our kids had lanyards with pins, he ended up giving the kids pins for VWL and for SSR.

Then this last October when we added on, the kids were with us and he gave them each a BCV pin.

So, yes they have pins and will give them out, seems the key is to have a child with you with a lanyard .

We didn't get any pins, but we haven't been "home" yet. We did get a nifty backpack, duffel bag type of thing, and a matted sketch of SSR.

The day after we jointed DVC in October we were in Epcot and they were selling DVC pins. We had to show our DVC card and we bought one that had 2004 on it. My DD daugther lost it on the golf course and we didn't have time to get another one before we flew back to UK. We can't wait to buy another one when we go again.

I also used ebay to get pins for my DD's Christmas present but did not notice any DVC pins at that time.

We also bought an AP holder pin too while in WDW. I love these exclusive pins as they make you feel special.

Can't wait to get back to the USA in three months time.

That is so very kind. It was the one with tinkerbell on it. DD was really upset but I assured her we will be going back every year so she should not worry too much.

Please don't worry about sending it to us we will be able to find another I am sure, but I feel very touched that you have offered and it has made my day.

I am so glad I have found these boards as we feel so far away in London.
