DVC Perks?

Hi all! My parents bought into DVC a few years ago, and I am on the contract so I have a DVC card. I am going to take an out of pocket trip down to Disney World next year, not using the DVC points. My question is does my DVC membership get me any "perks" or extras while I'm at the park? I will be at the CBR in a standard view and I was wondering if DVC membership would help get any upgrades, etc.

no help whatsoever as far as upgrades go.
You can take advantage of dining discounts.

Non-resort/stay specific discounts are still available to you such as:

• Current dining discounts
• Hard ticket discounts such as MNSSHP (if booked in advanced)
• Tour discounts (typically booked in advanced)

Resort/stay specific discounts would not be available such as free internet.

You would also qualify for the DVC discount on an AP.
