DVC Perks on Disney Cruise

Are there any DVC perks on cruises these days? In particular in the Wonder? It’s been a few years since we sailed, but I remember an embarkation day social and spa discounts during port days. Wondering what the current offerings (if any) are.

When I was in the Wonder in April, the only perks I noted were: 10% discount at shops on board if you spent over $50, daily small gift from the DVC sales desk, and you’re supposed to get a DVC magnet on your door. We didn’t have the magnet on our door, but we are able to stop by the DVC sales desk and get one. I didn’t note if there were spa discounts, and there wasn’t any kind of social…but that was April, and things are changing rapidly.

On the fantasy last week they had a member gathering where they showed a really bad video of DVC members talking like it was an AA meeting. They played a family feud style game with answers from members polled at the Epcot lounge. There were free drinks but no giveaways at the gathering. They had daily gifts if you stopped by the member desk, stateroom door magnet, drawstring bag, luggage tags, riviera print, member buttons. There’s no extra incentive to buy onboard.
