DVC, passes, misc grocery questions

Okay, we are going to be at VWL for 6 nights in August, I know there is alot to do there, and will probably do the bike and boat plan (any DVC discounts on that??)

i have 1 day on a PHP left plus 4 pluses, considering its August, i bet we will want to do the water parks, can I use all4 plusses at the waterparks, or can you only use 1 of them per park, then use them wherever else they can be used??

Can you still get DVC discounts at the mini golf, etc, I can't imagine doing a trip non-comando, but we may try, and use one day to hit 2 parks and be done!!!

Also, has anyone had food delivered from Disney or Goodings, my husband is very anti-rental car, or should we just hire a taxi one afternoon and get food?

The way it was explained to me, the bike and boat plan is already a discounted plan available to all resort guests, so they don't offer DVC a discount on top of that.

Yes, DVC still has a nice 15% discount at the three on-site miniature golf courses.

Why don't you give one of the internet delivery service grocers a try, such as netgrocer.com or one of the others? I've read a lot of good reviews here about them.

Or, I assume you're flying to Orlando....you might get one of the transportation companies that allow a stop at a supermarket on the way from the airport to WDW. If you're room is not ready, the resorts have a refrigerated cooler in their bell services that allows cold food to be stored while you wait for your room.

thank you, we are having Tiffany pick us up at the pier, so I bet they will do a grocery stop for us! That solves that problem. I think I will just wing the park thing, considering all the water park passes I have, I may just do a 1 or 2 day single park pass if necessary!!!

finally our first stay at the VWL, I was shocked that I could get a 1br 100 days out for all the days!!!

You can use your four "Plusses" at any combination of Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and Pleasure Island. What you cannot do is use all four plusses on a single pass to get four people into a waterpark at the same time.

I second the idea of a car service with a grocery stop. We fax our order ahead and its already for pickup
