DVC Ownership

Is it possible to only get into DVC ownership for around 50 points or so and is it worth it?? We usually only go for one week in Feb/March or April and one long weekend around Thanksgiving. We can work around the weekend points as we have family to see in Florida. Resort really doesn't matter. We would love a beach resort just as much as OKW or any of the WDW DVC properties. Just curious how much we could save vs. renting or booking ressies through CRO. Also how easy is it to get points at a resort that is not your home?

Absolutely possible. Just give the TimeShare Store or other DVC broker of your choice a call and let them know you are looking for a small contract of 50 points or so. You must purchase resale because Disney requires 150 points minimum if you purchase your intitial contract through them, but, if you go resale, even the smallest contract gets you full fledged membership. Keep reading the boards and you will soon know more than you ever thought possible!
