all of them paid in full when purchased

yes, that was the reasoning to make the purchase since that was our only debt and figured splurge

4. what do you do for a living
I own nutrition stores

5. average trip stay and how often
14-16 days every 7 months

6. average trip spend ( food, tix or AP, souvenirs, transport)
food: 1900, AP 1900 year for 2 adults, souvenirs 200 or less, airfare from Philly R/T $1800 (1st class) ubers $150

7. do you fully outright own your point as of now, or still paying
yes since we bought them all outright

8. any one have regrets of buying.
not buying sooner

1 bedroom always

eat out all the time ( we order snacks and drinks delivered to the room from walmart+)

11. What is your reasons you bought at the resort that you own at
Riviera: When they were building it we bought it before they finished since it was going to be on the skyliner and it was opening on my birthday so we saw that as a sign / Copper Creek: because of the resort itself and we love the grounds / Saratoga Springs: because you can walk right to Disney Springs and we also love the entire property and they have the best gym.

I get Disney asking for this information to target their marketing, but when they do it it's on a web form that goes back to them or their survey company. In doing this for whatever reason you're doing it for, you're asking for non-anonymised responses on a public forum, which anyone can see. Based upon the questions asked, it could become a valuable mailing list for anyone who comes along, or a targeting list for scammers looking for high value targets.

I encourage the moderator to shut this down and delete any responses already sent.

We initially bought 175 points direct from Disney, but after our first stay we decided we didn't like the resort-then stayed at OKW-DH loved it and announced he always wanted to stay at OKW. Since we couldn't "trade" resorts, we had to sell/buy on the resale market and now own 210 points at OKW. Those were financed, but our subsequent purchases at other resorts (which we stayed at before we purchased-we learned!) were all paid in full.

3. Our house wasn't paid off yet

4. Although we're retired now, DH was a plant manager and I was teacher.

5. Average trip stay 7-11 days. I go 2-3 times a year, DH only once every year or 2.

6. Don't want to think about it

7. Fully own our 545 points

8. Only regret, where we initially bought.

9. When solo-a studio, Otherwise-1 BR

10. Always ate out until DS taught us about grocery delivery (we're old-didn't know about Instacart and others!)

12. When we bought, there were just the 2 of us. But now there are grandchildren! "It's a whole new world."

We only became owners in 2023. So far, we've only done weekend stays (2-3 days), but planning week-long (first) stay at WDW in Sept 2025.

So far... $100-200/day (Not including Inspire Magic Key at DLR)

I don't understand the question.

Only regret not buying sooner, but also realistically wasn't able to buy sooner (school/career).

Only have stayed in Duo or Standard Studios so far. Will be staying 1-bedroom on first WDW trip in Sept 2025.

Eat out, but planning on cooking/in-room snacking more for longer stays.

Honestly, I've always wanted to add DVC to my life, but didn't make sense to own in Orlando, while living in So Cal. Jumped at opportunity when VDH was announced. DLR is only a 15 min drive from home, so VDH can be a true staycation. It's also nice to have as an alternative for accommodations when family/friends visits from out of state or out of country.
