DVC Owners, do you take non-theme park trips?

We'll be doing our first ever non park trip this December.

We did our 15th wedding anniversary at Disney with no kids and did not go to any parks. We played golf every day and just relaxed around the pool and walked around Downtown Disney and ate way to much every day. By the last day there I was ready to do something different, like go to Epcot..... but my DH was not into it at all so we played another round of golf and it was my best score ever. Even when we go with the kids we tend to go to the parks just a little less every year.

ON one trip we only did DQ & TL. Does that count as not doing any parks?

It does work. I am on one right now. I am at BCV for three days and two nights. Well, we did do a Blizzard Beach today in the AM. Does that count. On Sunday night and all day tommorow we will just lounge around the pool and the Boardwalk. Include Downtown Disney and you can fill up a couple days and nights. This is actually the second trip we have done this. The last trip was at WV and just for two days. It is way to hot in the summer to be at a theme park!

We only do parks every 3rd trip these days. Love just relaxing and seeing all
the World has to offer outside of the parks. DD(26) and I will be doing our
non-park trip in three weeks staying at SSR. We plan on resort-hopping,
laying by the pool and High Tea at GF. Can't wait!
