Do they compare the list of cruiser to DVC database?

I am so DVC member and was wondering how do they know we are DVC? Do they compare the list of cruiser to DVC database? or do you need it noted on your reservation?

Our first cruise is this coming August, but when I look at my profile on the Disney cruise website, under 'memberships and passes', it lists my DVC member number. It basically has all the information that is in My Disney Experience (MDE). So...I assume they'll already know when we board! As long as it's listed in your profile, I'd think you're good to go!

They knew you were DVC long before MDE was rolled out.

Just checked mine and it does have my DVC membership listed.

On my first two cruises they did not have me on the DVC list. But when I went up to the desk (the member celebration on those cruises was not on the first day), they were happy to add me to the list and gave me the magnet for my door. The last cruises I was on the list from the beginning.
